Named for the famous Revolutionary War hero General “Mad Anthony” Wayne, the City of Waynesville sits along Historic Route 66 and is the seat of Pulaski County, Missouri.  A city of 4,000, the City sits near Fort Leonard Wood and many service men and women call the City home.

The City sits near Roubidoux Creek whose clear, spring-fed waters draw scuba enthusiasts from around the country. Recent redevelopment activity in the Downtown Square brings a sense of energy and vitality to the community, which residents hope to sustain and grow through its participation in the DREAM Initiative.
