Organizational Structure Training Seminars

Key components of any revitalization strategy are the organizations and people leading the effort. The Organizational Structure Training Seminars provide information about how to create a successful local structure. Topics of these seminars include:

  • Sustainability - create organizations that will lead revitalization efforts throughout strategy development and implementation
  • Roles and Responsibilities - define the roles of each organization involved in order to ensure complete coverage of important issues and projects
  • Communication and Collaboration - provide direction on how to effectively communicate among different organizations and successfully collaborate through partnerships and joint-ventures
  • Capacity - ensure that there is enough capacity and local expertise involved in revitalization efforts
  • Financial Support - identify potential funding mechanisms for organizations and projects

Organizational Structure Training Seminars were held in February and June of 2008, and more are planned for the future. Please check back for dates.
